Fees & Financial Assistance

As a volunteer-led nonprofit, we keep program fees as low as possible while providing the right coaching, training and competition.

2027 travel fees

For 2027 we are committed to keeping fees at or below 2026 levels in every age group. Final fees depend partly on player numbers and how team expenses are shared. We plan to publish the full 2027 fee schedule by the November tryout weekend, and families will see the fee for their program before they're asked to commit.

Fees are planned to include

• Connecticut Baseball Academy training and practices
• Umpire fees for scheduled games
• Insurance
• Tournament entry costs
• Uniforms
• Paid coaching, including games, for teams that use professional coaches all season (mainly older age groups)

Coaching and training are the largest costs. Because the mix of professional coaching, games and tournaments differs by team and age group, fees vary across programs.

Financial assistance & scholarships

Financial circumstances should never keep a Stamford child from playing baseball. Thanks to the support of the Mickey Lione Jr. Foundation, scholarships are available to families who need help with program costs. Assistance may not cover the full cost in every case, but we work with families to make participation as accessible and affordable as possible.
